Jammu: In a significant military operation in the snow-covered Kishtwar district of Jammu and Kashmir, two terrorists were eliminated, as reported by the army on Saturday. The previous day, another terrorist was also neutralized.


According to official sources, the terrorists killed on Saturday were linked to the Pakistan-based Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM) group, including a prominent commander named Saifullah, who had been active in the Chenab valley for the past year.


The Jammu-based White Knight Corps announced on X, "In the ongoing operations at Chhatru, Kishtwar, despite adverse weather conditions, two more Pakistani terrorists have been eliminated. A significant cache of war-like materials, including one AK and one M4 rifle, has been recovered."




On Friday morning, security forces engaged with terrorists, resulting in the death of one ultra during operations that began on Wednesday after a brief encounter. The operations are ongoing, according to officials.


Additionally, a separate operation is being conducted to locate a group of three other terrorists in the Basantgarh and Ramnagar regions of Udhampur district, which has been active since Wednesday.
